Everybody loves chocolate milkshake, right?
I’m loving this healthy version at the minute, I made it for my seven year old son first of all, but loved it so much I made myself one for lunch and now I’m hooked. I have a real sweet tooth and this hits the spot. Its full of goodness so it could be a breakfast on the go, or a scummy lunch or even just a healthy snack - I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp raw cocao powder (or 3 tbsp of cocoa powder)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 handful of almonds
1.5 cups of coconut milk (or whatever your milk of preference is)
1 dash of maple syrup (optional)
small handful of ice cubes
Add all ingredients into your blender and mix until smooth. Pour into glass and enjoy!
You can slice and freeze your banana the night before if you want, to give your smoothie an even creamier taste.
